- Stand-alone Apps- They have their own identities, such as gaming, service, or social media application.
- Goal- B2B apps are built to address a specific business objective, whereas B2C apps are primarily focused on providing goods & services, entertainment, content, or connecting people.
- Cost- The cost of B2B mobile apps is comparatively higher than that of B2C apps.
- Audience- B2C applications target a larger audience, whereas B2B applications aim for a smaller audience. B2C apps are intended for individual use and are readily accessible to anybody with a compatible device. B2B apps are typically targeted toward specialized niches.
- Lifespan- B2B apps often have a longer lifespan than B2C apps since they are not susceptible to the same fashion trends and cycles. For these reasons, B2B app development takes a different approach than B2C app development.
- User Experience & User Interface- UI/UX is important for both the categories however, B2C demands more creativity, responsiveness, and security as it caters to a larger and diverse audience base.
- Business Models- B2B apps mostly require a subscription, whereas B2C apps are often free to download and use, with the potential of generating money through advertising.
